Contained herein, you will find all of the Transformers-related and non-Transformers-related stuff that I've written to date. There are completed fanfics both "slash" and non-"slash," bits of incomplete fanfics that I've taken a stab at over the years but have never completed, and some Transformers-related non-fic/essays that I've written over the years.

To make things a little easier to navigate, I've put them in categories below:

The Path of Least Resistance
OK, so Nightwind's trying something new here. Normally, I don't post incomplete fics. Frankly, I'm afraid to do so because it takes away from me my ability to rewrite/edit obsessively before anyone else sees whatever I write. However, for some reason I'm feeling a strong conviction to get past this fear of mine. So, I have decided to bite the bullet, face the fear head-on, and write a Barricade-centric Transformers 2007 movie fic and post it as I write it. Scary! For me, anyway.

So, I'll be posting the chapters as I go here on my site as well as on Fanfiction.net and my LiveJournal, if you wish to keep up with it. My goal is to post a "chapter" a week, but I'm not making any fancy promises. The story's fairly straightforward: It's the events shortly before, during, and shortly after the 2007 movie, all seen through Barricade's eyes. Once it's finished, the story as a whole will be moved to the "completed" section. And then maybe I'll start another post-as-I-go story. Maybe. We'll see how well this one goes...

Anyway, here's what's posted of TPoLR to date:
Chapter 1 (Posted 8/20/07)

Completed Non-Slash Transformers Fanfics
These are the completed fics that I've written that do not contain any references whatsoever to any romantic relationships between any "male" robots. As such, they're appropriate for all audiences.

Completed "Slash" Transformers Fanfics
These are completed fics that I've written (some with Frostbite as a co-writer) that do contain references to romantic relationships between "male" robots. Do note that I don't write "smut," however; it's kind of hard to do that, anyway, with creatures who don't have human-style genitalia, yes? :) So, if you're specifically looking for that kind of thing...you won't find it here. You will, however, find lots of fluffy goop. So, if you don't like fluffy, goopy mush and/or the thought of two "male" robots in wuv disgusts you, then you don't want to read these at all. Skip them. I won't be offended if you do. :) If you're good with that stuff, though...Well, then there you go. Click away.

Completed Non-Transformers Fanfic (and possibly other stuff, in the future...)
This is just a (for now very) small archive of fanfics I've written for other fandoms besides Transformers. In the future, it will likely be a catch-all for non-Transformers writings of any kind, fanfic or otherwise.

Fanfic Fragments
Here you’ll find a page of...Well, fragments. These are little fic-thoughts that occurred to me that don't, in my opinion, count as true fice as well as some stuff that I wrote for various fics that I planned at one time and that I started but that never really went anywhere for various reasons. Some of these stories I will or at least might resurrect in some form, but likely not any time soon. So, I’ve extracted coherent bits and posted them up. Most of them will be out of context, but I tried to pick bits that were enjoyable even if the reader had no clue what the context was. Also note that some are long; my fragments are often longer than many people's completed fics. :)

Two warnings with these, though:

  • Several of these contain fan characters, which might be kind of jarring since the bits are out of context to begin with. Plus, many people don't like fan characters. But I tried to pick bits that were less offensive in this regard.
  • Some of the bits may be “slash.” If so, I’ll flag them in the descriptions of the excerpt so that you can easily avoid them if you want to.

Transformers Non-Fiction and Essays
This is a small collection of Transformers-related non-fic/essays/ponderings that I've written over the years.
